It just so happened that while on holiday in Paris my visit coincided with a magical historical review of fashion buttons and embellishments for the last few centuries. Imagine 1000's of buttons and gemstone adornments displayed on black velvet in darkened rooms. Walls of buttons and historic garments, all set in the MUSÉE DES ARTS DÉCORATIFS.
